Description
The Ubiquiti WAN Switch links two UniFi gateways to a single internet service, so a Shadow Mode high-availability pair can share one ISP connection. If the active gateway fails, the standby takes over without a second service line.
One 10G SFP+ port connects to the ISP uplink, and two 10G SFP+ downlink ports feed the paired gateways. Two AC inputs provide power redundancy, and a Gigabit management port ties the switch into UniFi Network. Adding a second USW-WAN allows ISP failover deployments where a backup service is available.
