The 8ware 7m LC-LC OS2 single mode fibre optic cable (CB8W-LCUPCBLACK-7M) links fibre network equipment across single mode connections, carrying data between switches, patch panels, and fibre distribution frames. It suits enterprise, telecommunications, and data centre cabling where a reliable single mode link is needed.
Single mode OS2 fibre carries signals over long distances with low attenuation, so the lead holds signal integrity across the run. The LC to LC UPC polished connectors keep insertion loss low and support Ethernet speeds from 10Mbit/s through to 10Gbit/s, which makes this cable a practical replacement for copper patch leads on high-speed links.
The dual-core duplex construction carries two-way traffic over a single cable. An armoured build adds mechanical protection in busy racks and pathways, while the low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket limits smoke and toxic emissions during a fire, which suits enclosed and public-access installations.
