Description

The 8ware OS2 single-mode fibre optic cable is a 20-metre LC to LC duplex lead for high-speed data over long distances. Single-mode OS2 fibre carries signals with low loss, supporting links from 10Mbit/s Ethernet up to 10Gbit/s Gigabit Ethernet.

UPC-polished LC connectors keep insertion loss low and signal integrity high, while the dual-core duplex design supports two-way communication over a single cable. An armoured construction adds protection in demanding environments, and the low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket is flame-retardant and reduces toxic emissions, which suits enclosed and high-safety installations. The cable is finished in yellow, the standard colour for single-mode fibre.
