Uni Pin Fine-Line Pens at Everyday Home Living
Uni Pin is a Mitsubishi Pencil brand producing waterproof, fade-resistant fine-line drawing pens with a fibre tip that delivers a consistent, controlled line at precise widths. Uni Pin fine-liners are used by architects, designers, illustrators, students, and artists across Australia for technical drawing, illustration, and detailed line work where a consistent, waterproof line is essential.
Uni Pin Fine-Liner Range
The Uni Pin fine-liner range covers multiple line widths from an ultra-fine 0.05mm for the finest detail work, through 0.1mm, 0.2mm, and 0.3mm for progressively bolder lines. All models use a waterproof, archival-quality black ink that is lightfast, acid-free, and resistant to water and smearing once dry, making Uni Pin suitable for use with watercolour washes and other wet media applied over the dried line work. The consistent tip produces a uniform line width across the full stroke without feathering or bleeding on most paper surfaces.
Uses for Uni Pin in Australia
Uni Pin fine-liners are particularly popular in Australian architecture, landscape architecture, and design schools, where precise hand-drawn line work is part of studio practice. They are also widely used for bullet journalling, manga and illustration, technical sketching, and scientific illustration where line weight control and waterproofness are requirements that standard ballpoint or gel pens cannot provide.
